GNSS timing information is used to achieve accuracy on the order of E-12. Units also provide PPS and NMEA data. Dual-time base designs incorporate a second GNSS receiver that provides completely independent timing for an embedded frequency counter to assure the integrity of the source.

 

OCXO REFERENCES - STABILITY AND LOW NOISE

SC cut crystals installed in a single or double oven provide the master timing. Stability is typically in the range of 5 ppb/day- 50 ppb/year.

ATOMIC REFERENCES PROVIDE STABILITY IN GNSS/GPS DENIED ENVIRONMENTS

Ultra stable sources with accuracy on the order of E-9/year. Low noise sources with an embedded OCXO which is locked to the Rubidium source. A further enhancement is to include a GNSS receiver to discipline the Rubidium.

 

NMEA/PPS/NTP SOURCES AND SIMULATORS

A full range of devices to produce NMEA strings and PPS pulses either directly from the GNSS receiver or stabilized via signal processing. Simulators will generate user selected strings and PPS tied to an OCXO or atomic source is unavailable. The units can be sleaved to a GNSS receiver or an external PPS signal

Novus Distribution amplifiers provide a multi-channel solution for complex systems. Low noise designs preserve the integrity of either your pulse source or frequency reference. Transient and fault protection keep your system on-line. Three and ten channel designs can be daisy chained and combined to meet disbursed system needs. Wide bandwidth designs (optional DC to 12 MHz) offer flexibility. All inputs and outputs transient and fault protected.
