Most electronics labs require a stable 10 MHz frequency reference for frequency counters, spectrum analyzers and related equipment. The frequency reference allows synchronization of multiple test stands, minimizes ambiguity and allows the acquisition of less expensive equipment that can be easily enhanced with an external frequency reference. Most labs are operating at frequencies well below 1 GHz and a moderate phase noise reference will meet most of the reference demands. Novus GPS locked references are a strong addition. The GPS locked references listed below are used extensively in labs along with 10 MHz distribution amplifiers for cost effective installations.
