10 MHz GPS and GNSS Disciplined Frequency References
- ●Low Phase Noise
●Compact Designs Operate from -60 to +60 VDC as well as full-rack mount.
●Up to 10 Channels Eliminate the Need for a Distribution Amplifier and reduce noise.
●PPS and NMEA Outputs
●Secondary Channels- Synthesized from 10 MHz (Synchronous AM)
- NF-0100 signal converter enables fiber optic channels
Most electronics labs require a stable 10 MHz frequency reference for frequency counters, spectrum analyzers and related equipment. The frequency reference allows synchronization of multiple test stands, minimizes ambiguity and allows the acquisition of less expensive equipment that can be easily enhanced with an external frequency reference. Most labs are operating at frequencies well below 1 GHz and a moderate phase noise reference will meet most of the reference demands. Novus GPS locked references are a strong addition. The GPS locked references listed below are used extensively in labs along with 10 MHz distribution amplifiers for cost effective installations. GPSDO Kits are available that include antenna, cable and power supply- everything you need to have a functionng reference.

Kits Available for All Models (Antenna, Cable, Power Supplies)
A popular general purpose 10 MHz GPS disciplined oscillator. Low phase noise OCXO based reference offers 10 MHz, NMEA and PPS. Status relays can be wired into an alarm panel to alert of a failed self-test condition or if the unit cannot achieve GPS lock. Wide power operating range includes -60 to +60 Vdc (in three ranges) or AC power adapter. Auto-Calibration feature stores the most current OCXO compensation coefficients. (see Youtube video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAXjvuEEgUg)
High performance 26 channel GPS receiver that supports GPS, GLONASS, SBAS, QZSS. Synthesized secondary channel can be programmed from 14 KHz to 10 MHz- ideal for applications requiring a second locked frequency (synchronous AM). Auto-Calibration feature stores the most current OCXO compensation coefficients. (see Youtube video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAXjvuEEgUg)
General purpose triple channel 10 MHz GPSDO. Low phase noise OCXO based reference offers GNSS locked 10 MHz, NMEA and PPS. Status relays can be wired into an alarm panel to alert of a failed self-test condition or if the unit cannot achieve GPS lock. Wide power operating range includes -60 to +60 Vdc (in three ranges). Auto-Calibration feature stores the most current OCXO compensation coefficients.
10 Channel 1 ru GPS locked reference frequently eliminates the need for a distribution amplifier- saving rack space and cost. Multi-channel sources eliminate noise introduction through cabling between a source and distribution amplifier. GPSDO features low noise OCXO and Auto-Calibration. 26 Channel GNSS receiver locks under weak signal conditions.
Four channel GPSDO meets the synchronization needs for more complex systems. PPS and NMEA signals come standard. Large LCD display presents time and unit status. External event input (3.3 vdc logic) causes the current time and position to be recorded and stored. The event data can also be e-mailed to a user defined IP address. Optional NTP time server provides precise timing for a local equipment network. 10 MHz GPSDO features low noise OCXO and Auto-Calibration.

Dual time base incorporates a completely separate GNSS receiver that is the time base for a frequency counter that continously monitors the reference.
Over 30 hours of gap free counter data that can be downloaded and stored via the Ethernet provides supporting reference detail.
A ten channel reference with the stability of Rubidium and the ultra low phase noise of a OCXO.
Novus offers a kit package for all of our GPSDO products. With the kit you get the antenna, cabling and power supply. Everything you need to get your reference up and running.
